eMDee Technology, Inc., founded in 1996, is a privately-owned small business focused primarily on the Simulation and Training Industry, offering custom as well as Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions. Company expertise lies in the areas of systems engineering, software development, electrical and mechanical design as well as fabrication of simulated training devices. Customer projects have included:
eMDee Technology, Inc. has a strong reputation for technical excellence and a sincere and dedicated focus on customer satisfaction. Our goal is to make all customers happy with the solution provided for their system. It is that attention to detail that has made eMDee Technology, Inc. a success in the Simulation and Training Industry for over 25 years.
eMDee Technology, Inc. was founded by Mark Dees in 1996 as a contracting / consulting firm specializing in product development for various customers, mostly in the Simulation and Training Industry. The staff at eMDee Technology, Inc. have experience in the industry in both military and commercial applications.
By leveraging this experience, eMDee Technology, Inc. developed DisComm Technology, the core technology that provides the foundation for radio simulation training software and products offered today. A unique product for the training industry called DisCommWin was initially developed. DisCommWin Radio Simulation Software is a software library that allows users to develop applications to simulate radio and intercom communications among several training devices. Several of our subsequent products are a direct result of this original effort.
In 2004, eMDee Technology expanded its scope to include the development of Simulated Radio and Intercom Devices and electronics to support the Simulation and Training Industry. Today, we offer complete audio and communication systems from the initial design phase to final on-site integration. With our vast array of products, you can have more of your audio and communication system developed and delivered from a single supplier.
In 2011, eMDee Technology introduced Discomm Audio Network, a simplified concept for networked audio and radio simulation, based on DSP technology and the UDP/IP network protocol. It provides many advantages, including near-zero transport delay between speaker and listener based on a method of sampling, mixing, and routing audio through a standard 1Gbps network that is optimized for low-latency networked audio.
In the last decade, eMDee Technology has continued to support the Simulation and Training Industry by providing customers with Radio and Intercom Devices and electronics as well as software solutions to meet customer requirements. Most recently, eMDee Technology has been focused on smart technology that allows customers to use new interface boxes and harnesses to upgrade systems with previously installed FFCS devices.
